I attended the Los Angeles Computer Society board meeting and the DAR meeting at the beginning of March. I was able to get a hair cut and to take my sister, Mary, to lunch for her birthday. Then many events were canceled to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. A UCLA Retirees' tour of the Hammer Museum, the DAR District IX meeting, the DAR State Conference in San Ramone, church services, the bingo and ice cream social at the VA, and a planned trip to San Diego to visit my sister and grand nephews all had to be cancelled. I know this is necessary to keep safe, but it is disappointing.
Then I began learning how to set up and conduct Zoom meetings. This took up a lot of my time, and I found I'm still able to learn new things.
