During May, The COVID-19 pandemic continued. I was able to get out a little.
I've kept busy setting up Zoom meetings for the Los Angeles Computer Society (LACS) and for my DAR chapter.
I watched webinars and podcasts from UCLA, the Association of Personal Computer User Groups (APCUG), and the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). I have been learning a lot.
Also, the LACS newsletter, gardening, housecleaning, needlework, and taking walks have kept me busy.
I helped at the "Pamper Me Day" at the VA, where women veterans were treated to lunch, gift baskets, hats, beauty treatments, and hair cuts. I had some interesting conversations with these outstanding women. I am third from right in the image below. That evening I enjoyed a delicious Mexican dinner at the Knights of Columbus hall to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
On Memorial Day, we placed flags on the graves of veterans at the VA cemetery.
